For decades, the Smith & Fleischer Pediatric Group has served the needs of children and their families throughout the region and has touches the lives of many gnerations. The practice of Smith & Fleischer Pediatrics would like to inform you that their name has changed to Adena Pediatrics. Even though the name has changed, the level of care has not. We promise to continue to provide exceptional care that has b een the tradition of Smith & Fleischer Pediatrics. 
Adena Pediatrics wishes to inform you of some changes that are being made in order to provide an excellent experience for you and your child.
In the past, patients were assigned to one of the providers regardless of patient/parent preference. One of the first changes implemented is the ability to schedule with the physician of yur choice-not ours. However, if the child needs to be seen that day and the usual provider's schedule is not able to accommodate the visit, you will be given an option to schedule with one of the other providers.
The second change we are making within the practice is the opportunity for silings to become an established patient of the practice. As of June 1, 2010, you may call to schedule an appointment for your other children.
Third, we are striving to improve our service with wait times and ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for insurance verification, paperwork completion and collection of co-payment. Our goal is to have your child in the exam room at the time of your appointment. Knowing your tmie is valuable, we are working to ensure you and your child is in and out of the office in a reasonable time.
