At Adena, we offer a number of special programs for our heart and vascular patients. These offer excellent opportunities to find support, gather information and aid in your recovery.
Cardiac Rehab Services
Our goal is to give people with heart disease the opportunity to improve the quality and length of their own lives. Cardiac Rehab combines a prescribed exercise program with efforts to modify or eliminate heart disease risk factors through diet and lifestyle.
Mission Possible
A complete cardiac care program, Mission Possible is a walking fundraiser for a foundation that provides support (rehab and gas vouchers) to those patients who could not afford otherwise.
Heart Failure Support Group
The Group, which is organized and supported by the Adena Medical Center Heart Failure Support Group Team, is open to the entire community, including those with heart failure and their family and friends. Educational discussions range from diet considerations to quality of life.
