Orthopaedic Patient and Visitor Information
Scheduling an appointment is simple.
Give us a call during office hours or schedule an appointment online. We make our best efforts to schedule a time that’s most convenient for you. We strive to see all fracture referrals within 24 hours. Remember that Physiatry, Neurology and Spine appointments require a Primary Care Referral. Early morning appointments are also available.

When you call, we will ask for information about the reason for your visit. That way we can schedule enough time for you to meet with the appropriate specialist.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This gives you time to register and read through all the necessary paperwork. To make things go as smoothly as possible, have your photo ID and insurance card ready. We will also collect your co-pay at the time of the visit.
Prior to your visit, please download our patient form, fill it out, and bring it with you to the appointment.
Billing and Insurance
Adena Bone and Joint Center accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. Please bring your insurance cards when you come for your appointment.
If your insurance requires a referral or pre-authorization prior to a specialist visit, please make arrangements before your visit. Often times, those insurance plans will not pay any of the cost of treatment if you do not have a referral or pre-authorization. If your services are to be billed to the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, you must provide us with the appropriate active claim number, allowed conditions, date of injury and mailing address of the processing office.
We also accept most major credit cards. Please ask for details.
Outpatient Services

When selecting outpatient care for yourself or a loved one, you naturally want the best. Adena delivers the best with dedicated physicians and state-of-the-art facilities. We offer outpatient services at convenient locations throughout the region.
Our outpatient services are available at Adena Medical Center, Adena Greenfield Medical Center, and Adena Health Centers in Circleville, Jackson, Washington Court House and Waverly. Additionally, our skilled physicians also provide care at Highland District Hospital.
Adena’s injury clinics help you get back in the game.
Throughout the fall sports season our fellowship-trained physicians will be evaluating local athletes’ injuries. The clinics will run from August until the end of October, every Saturday from 9- 11 a.m. These clinics require no appointment and provide assessments precisely focused on injuries to ensure proper healing and recovery. Athletes under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and insurance information must be provided.

Inpatient Services
The staff at Adena Health System provides outstanding care to our patients. With warm and welcoming facilities, our patients and their families feel comfortable. Inpatient care is offered at both Adena Medical Center and Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
All physicians are on the Medical staff at Adena Health System and have privileges at Adena Medical Center. If you need surgery and/or hospitalization, the doctor will discuss all of your options with you.
