Adena Pediatrics is a practice comprised
of board-certified specialists in pediatric medicine. Caring for
children - from the youngest newborn through young adulthood - is our
mission.
Adena Pediatrics formally Smith & Fleischer
Pediatric Group was founded over 50 years ago by Dr. Lowell Smith and
Dr. Stephen Fleischer, in 1954. These two young physicians recognized
a critical need for high-quality pediatric care in Ross and surrounding
counties. Five decades and thousands of children later, we remain dedicated
to their vision of providing outstanding medical care.
Each of us, from
the receptionist at the front window to the clinician who readies
patients
for the doctor, is committed to the same high standards as our physicians.
Our staff members are carefully selected. We have hired each member
of our staff not only for their medical experience and expertise, but
also because of their love for and dedication to the health of children.
The
doctors of Adena Pediatrics provide care for
newborns, toddlers, pre-teens and teenagers through college. We provide
both well-child-care and care for sick and injured children. We
admit pediatric patients to the pediatrics unit at Adena Regional
Medical
Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
If your child ever requires the services of a specialist, be assured that we
have established relationships with many fine physicians throughout Central
and Southern Ohio. Over the years, we have worked with many specialists and
refer only to those whose commitment and dedication to children is as strong
as our own. If a specialist is ever needed, please know that we will remain
